Talislanta News

SMS has spoken to Jerry Grayson of Khepera Press who has successfully run Kickstarters for Hellas and Atlantis: the Second Age about the possibility of new Talislanta content in the future.

Let me be clear: Nothing is set in stone just yet. These are all tentative, exploratory ideas.

Ideas spoken of over in a Facebook thread include:

“a full-color Tal edition, set in the New Age as per previous editions; or, a new full-color sourcebook covering an earlier era of Tal history, tentatively titled Talislanta: The Savage Land, which would be set in the dark chaotic age that followed the Great Disaster (all knowledge of spell casting lost, no cities or nations, just warring tribes)”

“a Talislanta graphic novel or series of graphic novels (either illustrated versions of some of the Tales of Talislanta, the illustrated Travels of Tamerlin, or something new)”

as well as the possibility of a revisiting of old material, but in full color; a book dealing with the Unknown Lands in the vein of the Midnight Realm book; a book dealing with Talislanta’s future; and so on.

Would you be interested in additional Talislanta material for sale?

If such a project did occur, what would like to see produced (assume only one project at the moment):

If new Talislanta material was produced what would you like to see?

Savage Lands would be fun, but I think a new edition of regular Talislanta with a simplified magic system would be nice to have first.
